Exploration Report on Hauraki EP40598

This report by Oceana Gold summarises exploration activities carried out between 22.05.2019 and 21.05.2020 at the Wharekirauponga (WKP) and Waiharakeke (WHK) prospects on MEP40598, Waikato. Work completed at WKP includes field mapping and sampling, diamond drilling, petrographic vein mineralisation studies, modelling, resource estimation and mining scoping study. The estimate totals almost 3Mt of Indicated and Inferred resources containing 1.149 Moz Au and 2.033 Moz Ag reported under the JORC code as at 31 December 2019. Drilling is ongoing to further define the extent of gold mineralisation on the EG and T-stream vein zones. Mapping and sampling at WHK is ongoing to define potential target zones.
