Cheal G-1 Well Abandonment Report

This report by Tamarind presents the well abandonment operations of the Cheal G-1 in PEP54879, Taranaki Basin. Total depth of the well is 2384 m MDRF. Cheal G-1 was plugged and abandoned on 22.04.2021. A total of 49 bbl of Class G cement was pumped, top of cement was tagged at 1755 m in the tubing with the base at 2247 m giving an estimate top of cement at 1861 m in the annulus. The cement plug height in the tubing is 429.39 m and in the anulus is 386.1 m. The well head was removed and casing stump cut and capped at 3 m below ground level.
