PEP53374 (Opunake): Merged Trestles 3D Seismic Survey QI Report (Area B Surrender Version)

This report relates to the relinquishment area (area B) of PEP53374 only. AVO inversion is applied to the Merged Trestles 3D Seismic survey with the intention of determining reservoir fluid content at the Vixen and Vulcan prospects within PEP53374, offshore Taranaki Basin. A 2 term gradient intercept technique at the Moki A reservoir indicates Class 3 and Class 4 AVO signatures at Vulcan prospect. A 3-term simultaneous inversion combined with fluid substitution studies at Tui-1 indicates the potential for the presence of hydrocarbons at Vulcan prospect.
