PEP60093, offshore Taranaki Basin, was awarded to OMV New Zealand Ltd in April 2015. This report presents findings of analytical studies of seal quality of Cretaceous North Cape and Paleocene Farewell Formation in the northern Taranaki Basin. The seals component compares the new analytical results with existing data, looking for commonalities and trends to help predict seal capacities elsewhere in the study area. Nine seal samples (two from the latest Cretaceous interval (unit K 90) and seven from the Paleocene interval (unit T10) were described, and analysed by mercury injection capillary pressure (MICP) and under a scanning electron microscope (SEM).
