This report carried out by Fluid Inclusion Technologies is part of a 10 well study (PR5044-PR5053) across New Zealand. Fluid Inclusion Stratigraphy (FIS) is a patented technique that involves the rapid and complete analysis of volatile compounds trapped within fluid inclusions in well cuttings, core, or outcrop samples. Fluid inclusions are micron-scale, sealed fluid-filled cavities in diagenetic cements and healed microfractures that record hydrocarbon migration as well as local generation. FIS analysis produces depth profiles throughout the sampled interval of C1-C13 petroleum species and inorganic volatiles and can identify present and past hydrocarbon distribution and chemistry, seals, and proximity to charged reservoirs. The study comprises four stages, (1.Fluid Inclusion Stratigraphy, 2.Petrography, 3.API Gravity, Temperature and Salinity.
