PEP 51153: Miocene Biostratigraphy of Douglas-1 and Oru-1, onshore Taranaki

This report focuses on the foraminiferal biostratigraphy of Miocene strata in the Douglas-1 (1566-1707 m & 2660-2689.5 m) and Oru-1 (1450-1600 m & 1700 m) exploration wells, in the southern part of PEP 51153. The primary objective of this report was to develop high-resolution biochronostratigraphic frameworks for the selected intervals within the wells. The results from this study are to be used in conjunction with existing biostratigraphic data to constrain geological and geophysical interpretations. Based on the samples that were examined it is not possible to establish high resolution age models for these wells.
