Well completion report for Kapuni-20 and -20A (Sidetrack) within PML 38839, onshore Taranaki Basin. Kapuni-20 was spudded on 28th Feb 2013 and drilled to a depth of 978m AHBDF. An unintentional sidetrack during a wiper run resulted in plugging back and sidetracking of Kapuni-20A from 300m AHBDF on the 23rd Mar 2013. Total depth of 3886m AHBDF was reached on the 17th Jul 2013 and CCDC rig 43 was released on the 1st Aug 2013. Kapuni-20A was designed to penetrate the Kapuni Tight Gas reservoir group (K1, K2, K3A) which overlies the historical production interval, K3E. Kapuni-20A was completed as an observer well with 13 of 15 pressure gauges successfully installed.
