Well Completion report for Arakamu-1A within Taranaki Ventures Ltd permit PEP 51150, Central Taranaki. The primary target for this well was a large seismic amplitude anomaly within the Moki Formation which was mapped from the Eltham/Waihapa 3D seismic data. Arakamu-1A is a re-entry of Arakamu-1 drilled by TAG oil in 2006. Arakamu-1A was spud 21-12-2012 and reached a total vertical depth of 2653 m on 04-01-2013. Maximum formation gas was recorded in the Moki Formation was 1.85 % at 2736 mKB comprising C1-C5. No oil shows were observed. The rig was released on 11-01-2013 and Arakamu-1A remains shut in at the surface pending further evaluation.
