Petrographic study of the Farewell Formation in Kupe South-6 and Kupe South-8 wells in offshore South Taranaki at the Kupe gas/condensate field. The aim of the study was to to illustrate sandstone diagenetic effects; and examine samples from the siderite-kaolinite zone and chlorite-smectite zone.
