Moturoa-7 and Moturoa-7 ST1 Well Completion Report

On the 22 August 2007, Greymouth Petroleum spudded Moturoa-7 to determine the hydrocarbon potential in the top Blenheim Sandstone Member (Matemateonga Formation) in the Taranaki region. A total depth of 1180m was reached on 31 August 2007; the well was then plugged back to 196m. Moturoa-7 ST1 kicked off at 201m on 7 September 2007, reaching a total depth of 1592m on 19 September 2007. The well was completed and the rig released on 22 September 2007.
