Foraminiferal biostratigraphy of Clematis-1: Urenui and Mount Messenger intervals (480 - 1800m TD)

This report, prepared for Austral Pacific Energy Limited, provides a succinct account of the foram biostratigraphy of Clamtis-1 on shore well within PEP38741, Taranaki. Focusing on the (Late Miocene) Mount Messenger interval.; ; GNS Science was contracted to provide micropaleontological services, to establish a robust biostratigraphic framework and an overview of paleoenvironments based on a high-resolution suite of samples from the interval 1500-1800m TD. Rocks from the interval 480-1500m were also examined in order to provide a biostratigraphic context for the interval of primary interest.
