Application of high-resolution borehole image data to structural and sedimentological evaluation of the Mangahewa reservoir in the Pohokura field (wells POH-01, POH-02, POH-03, POS-01 and POS-01B)

This report summarises the results of an integrated structural and sedimentological evaluation of formation MicroImager (FMI) and Oil Based Mud Imager (OBMI) data acquired in all exploration and appraisal wells drilled up to January 2003 in the Pohokura Field. This gas condensate discovery lies within permit PEP38459 in Taranaki, New Zealand. The study wells are Pohokura-01, -02 and ?03, and Pohokura South-01 and -01B. This interpretation focuses on the newly drilled POH-03 and POS-01B, but includes an integrated facies evaluation of all wells.
