The Tuhua-1 well drilled a sequence of strata developed within the Tuhua overthrust structure, 3.5kms north of the McKee Field. The seismic reflections at the Tuhua-1 location have a character similar to those within the McKee Field and drilling confirmed a similar stratigraphic sequence. The drilling operations proceeded according to schedule and the well reached Total Depth in 26 days and was tested and completed in a further 24 days. Tuhua-1 has been completed as an oil producing well. No Log 9 catalogued.
