Seismic exploration report PPL 38074 Southland area

During November and December 1982 multifold seismic traverse was digitally recorded (consisting of 94.32 line kms) by Seismograph Service Ltd over part of Southland. This was done for NZ Petroleum Company Limited and Triton Oil (NZ) Ltd Results were very poor to good. Two possible structures were mapped and some leads were found. Recommendations for future seismic program are for an experimental seismic program. This would include a noise analysis, in order to determine type of spread best suited to obtain better reflections in Waiau Basin. NB: Enclosures @ 5cm on film available but not scanned (LB22)
