While three structural leads have been identified in PPL 38107, geologic uncertainties as well as economic considerations preclude drilling at time of writing. Although near term potential may exist in the far eastern portion of PPL 38107, interpretation is incomplete due to lack of sufficient geophysical data acquisition. It is recommended that the joint venture decline to commit to drill an exploration well in PPL 38107 as required by Nov 15, 1983, but seek an ammendment of the Licence to permit time for additional seismic investigation in the most eastern part of the block.
