Petroleum Exploration Permit (PEP) 60092 is in the offshore Taranaki Basin west of North Island, New Zealand (Figure 1). The permit covered an area of 2,364 km2 with water depths ranging from 120 m to 200 m. The permit was named “Ridgeline” after the prominent basement ridge that runs along the eastern edge of the permit which is a broad continuation northward of the Maui basement high. In year 9 of the work programme an application to surrender PEP 60092 was submitted to New Zealand Petroleum and Minerals (NZP&M) by OMV New Zealand Limited (OMV) on behalf of the PEP 60092 Joint Venture (JV). This report briefly describes the work carried out across the permit area.
