This report discusses the potential of Paleocene and Upper Cretaceous reservoirs as key exploraion targets within permit PEP 60092 in the Taranaki Basin. Reservoir quality studies from rock samples from 17 wells within the offshore Taranaki Basin have been conducted along with combined insights gained from petrographic and routine core analysis of existing and new samples to assess critical factors governing variation in reservoir quality for the deep reservoirs across the offshore Taranaki Basin.
