This report discusses the migration modelling study undertaken across the Arawa graben located within PEP 57075. Indications of thermogenic hydrocarbons in the Miocene sandstone reservoirs indicate an underlying active Cretaceous petroleum system known as the Arawa Graben. Cretaceous source rocks within the Arawa Graben kitchen can migrate to potential traps, that may then allow the accumulation of commercial volumes of hydrocarbons. This study examines the potential migration pathways by which oil and gas could reach Miocene traps in the Manganui (Moki Sandstone) and Otunui (Sw) formations, in addition to traps closer to the sources, within Cretaceous (North Cape/Wainui/Rakopi formations) and Paleocene (Farewell Formation) reservoirs.
