Biostratigraphic correlation of the Late Cretaceouse Intervals of Maui-4, Tane-1 and Romney-1

This is a palynoloical study of the Upper Cretaceous intervals of Maui-4, Tane-1 and Romney-1, by GNS Science. The study includes the interpretation of biostratigraphy and discussion on paleoenviroments. The study has demonstrated three major cycles of marine transgression and regression. Newly available subdivision of miospore zone PM2 and revised correlation with marine stages has provided firmer time scale for these cycles.
