Thrust Belt Imaging was contracted by Todd Energy to process the Mangahewa-2017-3D seismic volume, onshore Taranaki Basin in 2017. The primary goal of this processing was to produce a good quality structural image throughout the survey area focusing on statics. The approach taken was to use minimal pre-stack noise attenuation to avoid removing any diffraction energy or other signal and to focus on both refraction and residual statics which resulted in improved pre stack time migration imaging.
