This report discusses a multibeam bathymetric survey undertaken by Fugro BTW Ltd (FBTW) for Todd Energy New Zealand Ltd around Cape Egmont, Taranaki, New Zealand. The purpose of the survey was to acquire bathymetric data from depths of approximately 8 to 30m in a 91.25 sq km area around Cape Egmont, to enable the identification of hazards prior to seismic work being undertaken in the area. 89.09 sq km of the 91.25 sq km requested area was surveyed with the Geoswath Plus system, the remainder of the area being not safe for navigation.
