This report discusses a fluid extract geochemical study of the Amokura-1 and Kopuwai-1 wells carried out as part of the Stage 1 (Committed Activities) for PEP 60093. This was in the form of Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GCMS) analysis. The objectives for the project were: To assess the amounts of volatile organic compounds in the extracted mixture to provide insights into the source rock from which fluids were expelled, and to provide a quantitative analysis of organic compounds to allow later comparison with other typed fluid extracts in the Taranaki Basin.
