Turangi-6 was designed as an appraisal/development well of the Turangi Field in PMP 38161. It was spudded on 11 June 2016 and directionally drilled to reach a TD of 4600m on 12 August 2016. The entire Mangahewa Formation and the upper part of the Kaimiro Formation were penetrated. Schlumberger acquired a PEX-AIT-BHC-GR over the intermediate hole (905 to 3365m) and PEXAIT-GR; DSI, CMR and MDT logs over the TD section. The well was completed with a 4 1/2" mono-bore production casing and perforated over the three most prospective intervals (4096 to 4098m, 3790 to 3793m, 3564 to 3568m, and 3582 to 3585m).
