Shallow Water CSEM in the Maui PMP381012, Taranaki Basin, Offshore New Zealand

The report decribes the shallow water Controlled-Source Electromagnetic (CSEM) survey operated by Shell Todd Oil Services Ltd at PML 381012 in offshore Taranaki. CSEM data collected at all three locations showed clear evidence (in phase versus offset and magnitude versus offset plots as well as on inversion results) of a shallow resistive gradient that increases towards the north east of the basin. The range in resistivities observed in the inverted shallow resistivities goes from 1 to 100's of ohm.m, most probably associated to a gradual change in rock and/or fluid properties.
