Three wells have been drilled as part of the Kowhai Field well testing program (Kowhai-A1R, Kowhai-2 and Kowhai-3). So far results have been encouraging with Kowhai-A1R and Kowhai-2 intercepting hydrocarbon columns. Testing has not been completed on Kowhai-3 but preliminary interpretations indicate the presence of a significant, shallow gas bearing formation.
