Cross Roads-1, a vertical exploration well, was spudded on the 6th of June 2014 in PEP38526 (Petroleum Creek Ltd), onshore West Coast Basin. The objective was to investigate the hydrocarbon potential of the Cobden Limestone and Eight Mile formations on the Kotuku Structure. Drill Force rig #1 reached a total depth of 335.4m MDBKB on the 18th of June 2014. No significant gas shows were encountered however oil shows were observed in the Eight Mile and Cobden Limestone formations. The well was cased and suspended for production testing and the rig released on the 21st of June 2014.
