A legacy compilation of New Zealand frontier basin seismic interpretation projects

This seismic interpretation package is an archive of material developed over a significant period by a single interpreter at GNS Science. It is based on a number of regional studies of seismic data from research and open file surveys, funded from public, open-file commercial and internal sources. The accompanying Kingdom project includes interpretation on over 2000 lines and covers the following basins: Northland/Reinga, Taranaki and Deepwater Taranaki (NW sector), East Coast, Pegasus/Cook and Raukumara (NE sector), and Canterbury and limited Great South (SE sector). Its value is primarily for screening exploration potential, and providing background interpretation in regional reviews.
