Magnetotelluric Survey of the Chester, Tiffin/Peter Cooper and Gladstone Anticlines

Victoria University of Wellington was engaged by TAG Oil (NZ) ltd to undertake and analyse a magnetotelluric (MT) survey in the Carterton / Masterton region of Wairarapa. Field measurements were subcontracted to GNS science and the fieldwork and basic data processing is loaded as an enclosure. This report details the subsequent data processing and 2D inversion of the data to provide electrical resistivity models. The interpretation of the resulting models in terms of the anticlinal structures mentioned in the tile is also discussed.
