Mohua 2D MSS was carried out by SeaBird Exploration on-board the M/W Aquila Explorer in April 2014 on behalf of OMV NZ Ltd. The survey was acquired over Offshore Taranaki Basin in PEP 53537. The objective of the survey was to image geological structures and to identify more prospective areas for further investigation for a 3D seismic survey. The survey consisted of six sequences and has a total of 203.65 km of prime data. Shots were spaced every 25 m with a volume of 2360 cu in. Shots were recorded for 7.168 s with an interval of 2 ms on 648 channels spaced at 12.5 m along an 8 km streamer (max fold 162).
