Rotokare 3D Acquisition and Processing Report

The 3D seismic program for Rotokare was acquired by Southeast Asian Exploration (SAE), for New Zealand Energy Corp. (NZEC). The project area is located in the North Island of New Zealand, approximately 48 kilometres to the southeast of New Plymouth, near Eltham. Acquisition commenced in late February 2012 and was completed in June 2012. The project design consisted of 40 receiver lines with a total length of 433.86 kilometres and 37 source lines with a total length of 342.52. The interval between both receiver and source stations was 50m. Excel Geophysical Services of Greenwood Village, Colorado was contracted to process the survey. Seven processed SEGY volumes were generated.
