PRDH037 was drilled by Helidrill between 2 December 2008 and 21 January 2009 in the Paparoa Ranges to assess the CSG potential of the Pike River Coal Field. CRL Energy Ltd was contracted to carry out drilling supervision and coal seam gas desorption services. PRDH037 drilled to a TD of 352.3m MD after encountering 23.39m of coal in the Brunner Formation and Paparoa Group. Short reports on coal seam gas make and viability studies of on site electricity generation are also included.
