Blair-1 Well Completion Report

Blair-1 is a coal seam gas appraisal well targeting the Waikato Coal Measures, and was drilled to a total depth of 706.12 metres from 18 August to 10 September 2009 in PEP 38605. After reaching basement, the well was deepened to assess water disposal capacity in the basement rock. Results of geophysical log interpretation, well testing and basement reservoir water quality analysis indicate this well is ideally suited for a CSG produced water disposal well.
