West Cape - 1 Well Completion Report

In 2007 AWE drilled the West Cape-1 well in PEP 38481, offshore Taranaki, New Zealand. The geological objective was a large fault dependent closure in the Kapuni F10 sands, the well was programmed to drill to basement. West Cape-1 was spudded on the 13th September 2007, and reached a TD 3681m MD on 23rd September. West Cape-1 was plugged and abandoned after logging with no significant oil or gas shows, and the rig was released on 28 September.
