The Moturoa-6ST1 and Moturoa-6ST2 wells were drilled for Greymouth Petroleum as side tracks off Moturoa-6. Moturoa-6ST1 was kicked off from 260m on 6 March 2007 and reached total depth of 1865.5m. Moturoa-6ST2 was kicked off from 1376m and reached total depth of 2030m on 22 March 2007. The Moturoa-6 wells were drilled to appraise the extent and productivity of the hydrocarbons in the Blenheim sands.
