This report describes the geochemical analyses for samples taken from the Tangaroa Play. Wells which samples were taken from were Kora-4, Tangaroa-1, Ariki-1 and two oil samples from Kora-1. The geochemical program was undertaken to evaluate the source potential, thermal maturity and depositional environment of the cuttings and core samples from the three Taranaki Basin wells for correlation with the fluid samples from Kora-1. This report provides a compilation of geochemical data obtained from source rock assessment and analysis of hydrocarbons extracted from the sediments, together with an interpretation of these data.
