Login to download

The primary objective of the study was to review existing petrographic data and undertake some new petrographic analyses of selected samples from the Moki Formation, in order to assess reservoir quality in exploration blocks 38749 and 38750. The main elements of this study are: a) To examine grain size variations of sandstones from the Moki Formation. b) To quantify the detrital and authigenic mineralogy of sandstones from the Moki Formation and to determine controls on reservoir quality. c) To compare and contrast results from different wells in order to predict reservoir quality of the Moki Formation particularly within exploration block 38749.
