This report summarises activities during the re-entry Moturoa-2 by Greymouth Petroleum in mid 2003. The objective of the re-entry was to access the current status of fluids in the upper Blenheim reservoirs of the Matemateonga Formations. The abandonment cement plugs were removed without difficulty although heavy muds were required to control the well as the last plug was removed. Milling was required from 575m due to the presence of junk in the hole and operations were halted at 606m when a very hard object was encountered.
