Pressure transient analyses of well Pohokura-1 DST1 and DST2, well Pohokura-2 DST1 and DST2, New Zealand.

Four drill stem tests carried out by Fletcher Challenge Energy in the gas condensate Pohokura field identified high skins on the wells, Fletchers proposed that condensate blockage was a contributing factor. The purpose of this report is to determine how much of the high skin is caused by the condensate. Because of shortcomings of Fletchers original analysis and to ensure a consistent interpretation the single phase pressure transient analysis was repeated, but the major effort was an analysis of the well tests using Shells MoReS multiphase reservoir simulator to model the condensate dropout explicitly.
