Petrophysical Review of the Urenui and Mt Messenger Sands. PEP 38738 and Adjacent Area. Onshore Taranaki

The objective of this investigation is to review the petrophysics of the Intra-Urenui sands and the Mt Messenger sands intersected by various wells within the onshore Taranaki Basin. The objective was also to build a reliable predictive petrophysical model. The Urenui and Mt Messenge Formations were analysed from seven wells Cheal-1, Cheal-2, Toko-2, Ngaere-3, Wingrove-1, Mako-1 and Waihapa-8. The purpose of the study was to obtain a better understanding of the petrophysical response of the Urenui and Mt Messenge Formations, and to provide a methodology to predict the presence of producible oil zones within operational wells.
