Petrological analysis involving thin-section petrography (modal, grain size and pore size analysis), clay fraction and whole rock XRD analysis, and scanning electron microscopy was carried out on 48 core plug offcut and five sidewall core samples of sandstones from the Kapuni Group in Pohokura-1 and -2. This reports details the results of the study.
