The report has 3 objectives: 1: To reinterpret available data on oil stains in Moa-1B and bitumen in Wainui-1 wells and to discuss maturity implications. 2: To review available data and report on maturity and source of oil stains in Taranga-1. 3: To interpret available data on Maui F sands oil and discuss maturity. Results show that Moa-1B stains represent a mixture of an extraneous oil and an indigenous bitumen. Stains in Wainui-1 appear indigenous, but there is evidence for a migrated oil component. Maturity in Taranga-1 appear similar to those of normal coal-sourced oils in New Zealand. Maui-B F sand oil correlates with Maui-D sand oil.
