This report is a continuation of an organic geochemical study of the sediments penetrated by the Maui-4 well, drill offshore New Zealand (PML381012). Total organic carbon and pyrolysis measurements were performed on sixty well cuttings samples from 6650 feet to 12610 feet in the Maui-4 well. These results were submitted to Tricentrol in January, 1983. Based on the results of the total carbon and pyrolysis analyses, seven cuttings samples, and one crude oil sample recovered from this well, were submitted to detailed hydrocarbon characterization. The results from this detailed analytical programme are presented in the report.
