Stratford-1A was drilled as a re-entry and sidetrack from Stratford-1. The original well was drilled in February 1983, and completed in March 1984. Stratford-1A was commenced in October 1990 and completed as a deviated gas producer on 7 June 1991. The two objectives of the well were to: (i) reduce the uncertainty in reserve estimates of in-place and recoverable hydrocarbons of the Stratford gas-condensate field; and (ii) test and assess the production characteristics of the reservoir sands near the top of the Mangahewa Formation. Includes AVO Feasibility Study, Mean Square Dip Processing Report, Formation Test Report, and Production Testing Results report.
