Login to download

Wingrove-1 in PPL38083 was drilled to a total depth of 1600 m in February 1993. The Mt Messenger and Moki Formations had shows with bright yellow fluorescence, milky white cut and higher order hydrocarbon gas. Completion operations began on 9 March 1993. BPB cement log bonds were run, the well displaced to 2 micron filtered clayfix 2 treated water, and 7 BPB wireline perforation runs performed. A dual packer, single sliding sleeve completion string was run and the tubing swabbed 8 times in an attempt to induce the well to flow. The well was then shut in with a BPB set in the tubing hanger, with the sliding sleeve closed and the wellhead bull plugged pending production test operations. The rig was released on 17 March 1993.
