MacPherson Geological Consultants was contracted to implement a roadside, low level hydrocarbon, soil gas survey in PPL38700 on and about State Highway 48 and Whangamomona township. A total of 545 samples on 3 lines were collected and analysed, including 15 reference and 37 repeat samples. This report offers an overview of the collection and analysis techniques. Factors affecting the interpretation of the results are discussed.
