Seismic processing report , Kupe South 1987/89.

During March/April 1989, TCPL Resources Ltd acquired 342.3kms of reconnaissance 3D data over the southern portion of the Kupe field in the offshore Taranaki Basin, licence PPL 38116. These data were merged with 415.52kms of reconnaissance 3D data acquired in 1987. Data processing involved merging the two data sets by first matching the amplitudes and spectral characteristics of the field data through gain recovery and signature deconvolution, and then establishing a common 3D grid with the 1987 survey. Interpolation from 200m to 100m crossline spacing where required and then 100m to 25m, was performed on the merged data set. The data were then 3D migrated with a 13.33m x 25m grid to produce the final data volume. This report should be cross-referenced with the following reports: PR1519, PR1670, PR1740 and PR1741. The correct shotpoint basemap for this survey is enclosure 115 labelled 3D bin location map.
