The objectives of the Okoki 1 well are: to drill an exploration well at shot point 1200, seismic line TA88-2016 of the 1988 Toka 2D survey to 3900m RT total depth; to encounter hydrocarbons in reservoir quality sands of the top Kapuni Group and to core the top 30m of this interval; to evaluate the potential for multiple hydrocarbon accumulations and reservoir quality in the deep section by drilling through the intra Kapuni Group interval; and to evaluate the reservoir potential of the mid Miocene Moki Formation by a 90 foot core, which would form the objective in prospect elsewhere in PPLs 38437 and 38438.
