Sniffer geochemical survey Offshore Taranaki Basin New Zealand., February to April 1986.

Petrocorp (Exploration) Ltd acting on behalf of a consortium of NZ based companies contracted InterOcean Systems Ltd of San Diego, California to conduct a geochemical SNIFFER survey (consisting of 769 line kms) in the offshore North Taranaki region. The operational aspects of the survey were generally very good. Apart from initial problems with chromatographic equipment, no operational or calibration problems were evident throughout the survey. The data package provided by the contractor at the end of the survey was acceptable except for the absence of reproducible film copies of maps.
