Interpretation Report of a High Resolution Aeromagnetic Survey In Waiau-Te Anau Basin Southern NZ. PPL 38074.

In March, 1984, a digital high resolution aeromagnetic survey of 2250 line miles was flown in southern NZ for NZ Petroleum Company Ltd. The objective of the survey was to contour the elevation of magnetic basement and locate faults, geological contacts, intrasedimentary intrusive bodies, sedimentary magnetic horizons, etc. The total magnetic intensity and calculated vertical gradient were studied in profile and contour form to identify and calculate the depth and dimensions of these features.
