Report on diamond drilling of the Laverton Creek Silver prospect, Parapara PL311132, NW Nelson

This report describes the results of exploration for silver and gold in the Laverton Creek area within the Parapara prospect from 1983 to 1984. Work included three diamond drill holes, extensive surface rock sampling and a ground magnetic survey. None of the three drill holes intersected significant mineralisation. There is no evidence of precious or base metal enrichment. The exploration programme has shown that mineralisation is confined to the zone defined by previous exploration. No additional work is recommended.
